Kayak Rentals Kauai

At Kayak Tours Kauai, we've been passionate about canoes and kayaks since we first dipped our paddles in the water. What started as a hobby has turned into a full-fledged business, but our love for the water has never waned. We're dedicated to sharing that passion with our customers and helping them find the perfect vessel for their next adventure.

If the Wailua River Kayak and Waterfall Hike is what you seek, our riverside rental option is your best choice. Here, you can simply walk our kayaks a short distance to the launch point and off you go. No need to transport the kayaks with vehicle. 

This rental option includes waterproof dry bags, cooler and a map to the waterfall trail. We offer this Monday - Friday with rental times beginning at 7:15AM or 12:15PM. The rental time is 5 hours which matches the time for the guided tours. 

Kauai is full of rivers and lagoons to explore. If you don't mind transporting your own kayaks, we can set you up with single or double kayak. We also have paddleboards available. 

Our pickup location is not far from the Wailua River which has that waterfall hike. Other nice places to Kayak include Anini Beach, Kalapaki Bay,  Huleia River and much more.

Rental options range from all day to all week.  

Our large ocean kayaks fit two people plus up to 100Ibs pounds of gear comfortably. They are equipped with rudders that you can steer with your feet using a handy pedal system. These kayaks are perfect for paddling the Na Pali Coast during summer months of May - September. There are also some lesser known but equally impressive ocean adventures to be had too. These can also be used for river adventures.
